Christine has more than three decades of engineering and management experience, spending the last 20 years as Program Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer at ASW before becoming CEO of ASWB in 2013. She is an active member of the engineering community previously serving as an Officer in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), an Officer in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Orange County Science and Engineering Fair (OCSEF). Currently, she sits on the Team Leadership Committee of the Association of Women in Water, Energy and the Environment (AWWEE). Christine has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering and completed the Management Development for Entrepreneurs program at UCLA.
David Wylie, P.E.
David cofounded ASW Engineering in 1976, which in 2013 became ASWB Engineering. He has been published on HVAC and lighting and is the author of New Refrigerants for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems (1996). David is ASWB’s primary instructor and has developed over 40 courses in energy management and delivered over 10,000 hours of classroom instruction. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, an MBA from National University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California.
Mark was employee #1 at ASW and has over 20 years’ experience as an electrical engineer. Mark’s expertise is in instrumentation and his primary responsibilities include remote data collection, site inspections, and system analysis. Over the years he has been the Project Verification Engineer on over a thousand Demand Response Enabling Technology projects for SCE and SDG&E. Mark has a BS in Electrical Engineering and is a certified EIT. He’s an active member of the International Society of Automation (ISA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Christie worked at SCE as Manager of Commissioning Services where she oversaw energy efficiency retrofits totaling $87 million as an Engineer III. At ASWB, she works on developing education and training in energy efficiency, HVAC, and lighting. Christie is a former president of the Orange Empire Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and a recipient of the ASHRAE Society Presidential Award of Excellence. She has a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
David joined ASWB in 2008. He has a strong skill set in testing and analysis and has field-tested hundreds of Demand Response implementations throughout California. David is also a skilled manager and has excelled in his roles as Project Verification Engineering Manager in support of Demand Response for SCE, our Technology Incentive Program Verification Engineering Manager for SDG&E, and our Lead Engineer and Program Manager in support of the PG&E Auto-DR program. He has BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Riverside and is a certified EIT.
